I love Madeleines, especially the classic ones. They are so pretty and soft and taste delicious. I recently tried to make madeleines, using a recipe I found on Joy of baking. The recipe can be found here. One of the annoying things about madeleines is that they require a special baking pan. I'm not sure what else I can do with the pan other than make madeleines. Oh well.
The only change I made from the original recipe was that I didn't serve them with the powdered sugar. I think they taste great without it.
