Four Ingredient Nutella Peanut Butter Cookies

4 ingredient peanut butter Nutella cookies are so easy to make. They are an easy cookie recipe when you’re craving something sweet.

Easy Peanut Butter Nutella Cookies

Last weekend though, during my crazy peanut butter baking weekend, I tried adding peanut butter to the three-ingredient Nutella cookies I previously made. I got the idea from a reader “Stephanie” who shared her variation of adding a little peanut butter to the Nutella recipe.

I upped the peanut butter in my recipe, hoping that I could create a cookie where you could really taste both ingredients. And you can.

These cookies are really easy to make. They are delicate though with such few ingredients. So if you put pressure on the cookie, it does break apart easily. The flavors of both peanut butter and Nutella are very present and intense.

It’s a great recipe to make when you’re pressed for time and want a quick dessert fix.

  • Nutella (chocolate hazelnut spread)
  • Peanut butter
  • All-purpose flour
  • Large egg

Peanut butter: I tested this recipe with regular creamy peanut butter. I haven’t tried it with natural peanut butter.

Flour: I haven’t tried this recipe with gluten-free flour other flour alternatives. I have made flourless Nutella cookies that you might want to try.

How to Make the Cookies

Mix all of the ingredients in a large bowl until the dough comes together.

Form the dough into 1″ cookie dough balls and place them on a cookie sheet. Press the balls so they form a disc.

Bake the cookies at 350°F for seven to eight minutes.

Tips

  • You can mix the dough with a spatula, but I think it’s easiest to use your hands. It may seem crumbly, but it should hold together as a dough when you press it.
  • A cookie scoop makes it easy to make dough balls that are the same size.
  • After you press the cookies down, I like to smooth the edges so they aren’t so jagged.
  • Allow the cookies to cool completely on a wire rack before storing them in an airtight container.

I’ve made several batches of these peanut butter Nutella cookies and I love how both flavors shine through. They definitely cure a craving for sweets and they’re so easy to make.

These cookies are easy to make and satisfy a sweet craving.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix all ingredients with a large spoon until dough batter forms. You may want to work with your hands to properly blend the dough. The batter may be slightly crumbly, but should come together to form cookie dough.
  • Form into 1 inch balls. Place on a cookie sheet. Press the balls down with the palm of your hand until they are round and flat. I smoothed out the edges of the cookies after flattening them though they still were a little jagged and cracked. Space them about 1 inch apart. Bake for 7-8 minutes for the cookies to set.
