Cascal Natural Sodas and a giveaway!

Cascal sodas are fermented drinks made with natural juices. The result is a taste similar to wine coolers but without the alcohol. I was already a fan of the drinks when Cascal contacted me to see if I wanted to sample the sodas and do a giveaway. I happily accepted. I was given a can of each flavor in this nifty cooler lunch bag.

There’s quite a few reasons why these drinks appeal to me:

Flavors. Cascal sodas come in five different flavors. I’ve tried them all and I like them all and I like the diversity of fruit flavors offered. The flavors consist of Crisp White, Ripe Rouge, Fresh Tropical, Bright Citrus and Berry Cassis.

Nutritional Value. The sodas are flavored with natural fruit juices with no additional sugar added and are gluten free. Each can has only between 60-80 calories, depending on the flavor and between 15-18 carbohydrates. Even on my “eat healthy days,” I can drink one of these and not feel guilty.

Cascal can be found at Whole Foods and Bristol Farms. Click here to find all the stores they are sold at near you.

Cascal has also offered to provide one of lucky winner with an entire case of sodas in the flavor of their choice. There are a couple of different ways to enter, and you can enter all three ways for extra entries:

Contest ends on April 11, 2012 at 11:59PM. Winning entry will be chosen through a random number generated by random.org. Please note, this contest is only open to US residents. Cascal will ship the winner the case of sodas. Good luck!

    I’ve never tried this brand before. All of the flavors sound good but the one I’d like to try most is berry cassis.

    I would LOVE to try Cascal! They ALL sound delicious, however, If I had to choose, it would be the “Ripe Rouge” with the chocolate, cherry and rose flavors. YUMMO! <3

    Fresh Tropical sounds the best to since I love mangos. Too bad there aren’t any Whole Foods or Bristol Farms near me. The closest Whole Foods is probably over 2 hours away and the one in Charlotte(1.5 hrs away) still hasn’t been finished being built.
