I finally got my hands on the limited edition Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Oreos (thanks Leanne for the tip!). And they are pretty good. Unlike some of the other Oreo flavors I’ve tried, the filling really does taste like peanut butter cups.

I decided to use some of my cookies to make peanut butter fudge, studded with the limited edition Oreo pieces and Reese’s peanut butter cups.

The fudge is made in the microwave, so it only takes about 5 minutes of prep. Then you add in some chopped Oreo and peanut butter cups, stick it in the fridge to set, and you’re ready to go.

Peanut Butter Cup Oreo Fudge

Servings: 64 (1-inch) pieces
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Course: Dessert
Cuisine: American
This easy, microwave peanut butter fudge is stuffed with peanut butter cups and Oreo cookie pieces.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz unsalted butter
  • 1 cup creamy store-bought peanut butter
  • 1 lb powdered sugar
  • 10 Oreo cookies I used the limited edition Reese's peanut butter cup flavored
  • 10 peanut butter cups

Instructions

  • In a large microwave-safe bowl, add butter and peanut butter. Microwave for 1 minute and stir. Microwave for about another 1 minute and stir again until mixture is completely smooth. Add in powdered sugar and stir until completely smooth and no powdered sugar chunks remain.
  • Chop Oreos and peanut butter cups. Line an 8 x 8 baking pan with parchment paper. Add half of the chopped Oreos and peanut butter cups to the bottom of the lined pan, spreading across evenly. Pour fudge on top, spreading across evenly and smoothing out surface. Add remaining Oreos and peanut butter cup pieces on top, pressing down gently so they partially sit inside the fudge. Refrigerate for several hours to set. Slice with a sharp knife to serve.

  1. Oh man I haven’t tried these yet, I saw Leanne’s post about it on IG! I need to go find a package this weekend. Fudge sounds like a good way to use the cookies!

    • they are pretty good! esp if you like pb cups. I found them at Stater Bros after Leanne mentioned she got them there. Actually my supply is low…I think I need to get another one. hehe

  2. I just finally tasted one of the cookies from the gift package and I love it! Thank you!  The chocolate Oreo wafer cookies go well with this flavor.

(runs off to get another one!)

    • hehe, so glad you like it! it’s def one of the best limited edition ones they’ve come up with, in my opinion.
