If you’re in or near the San Diego area and are a fan of Top Chef, there’s an exciting free event happening next weekend at Macy’s Home store in Mission Valley.
Chef Stephanie Izard (the first female winner of Top Chef) will be demoing some of her award-winning dishes and there will be samples for the audience to taste. The event is sponsored by Macy’s Culinary Council and will take place on July 25, 2015 at 12 PM. The event is free and you can reserve your spot at https://stephanieizardmissionvalleydemo.eventbrite.com.
In addition to tasting samples, you can also get a book signing with her!
With any purchase of $35 or more in the Home department, you will receive a $10 Macy’s gift card and a copy of Chef Izard’s cookbook, Girl in the Kitchen, which she will sign directly after the demonstration. You can view all the details of the event here.
I’m super excited for the event and hopefully I can get a photo during my book signing. I’ve been collecting Top Chef meeting photos like people collect baseball cards. So far I’ve collected five! Hope to see you there!
