Holiday Gift Guide 2016

I know this Holiday Gift Guide is coming a little late. With our recent trip, I’m completely behind on my holiday routine. Our tree isn’t up, present shopping isn’t finished, etc. I can’t believe how little time I have left!

If you’re still shopping for gifts like me, here are a few ideas I came up with:

$100-$200

#1 Instant Pot

This is my most beloved kitchen item this year. It’s a multi-functional pressure cooker that acts as a rice cooker, steamer, yogurt maker and more. I use mine almost every day for rice, soups, porridge, etc. I’ve raved and recommended it to all my friends and will be gifting one this year too.

#2 Nespresso

I drink espresso every morning and love my Nespresso maker. I own the Citiz model along with a separate milk frother.

#3 Anova Sous Vide Cooker

If you enjoy sous vide-style cooking which is often used at restaurants, you can easily do it in your own home with this home sous vide solution. It fits into any large pot and allows you to enjoy fancy sous vide cooking whenever you want.

$50-$99

#4 Stovetop Smoker

We love smoked foods but we don’t have enough yard space for a smoker. This stovetop smoker is small and portable and is a quick solution to get some natural wood and smoke flavor to your foods. And almost all of the smoke smell is contained as well. I use it in the kitchen with no issues. I bought it a few months ago after my friend Kirk recommended it to me and have used it quite a bit for meats and fish.

Under $50

5-Minute Mug Cakes

Yes, this is my cookbook, but I’m very proud of it and I do think it makes a great gift. I use my copy all the time whenever I’m in the mood for a small dessert. I wrote the book two years ago and I still love the recipes just as they are written.

#5 Dump Cakes from Scratch

This is my second and new cookbook. It’s a great solution to make an easy dessert for a large family or group!

#6 My Scheming Facial Masks

I try to use a facial mask once a week. I recently started using this My Scheming brand and it’s the first one I’ve used where I actually see a difference. It leaves a dewy glow on my face after I use it.

#7 Sugarfina Gummies

I was a little taken aback when I first saw the prices of Sugarfina candy, but now I understand why they are so loved. They are a little pricey, but you can taste the difference. I especially love the gummies, specifically the champagne bears, rosé bears, and royal roses. You can buy them on their website. Some Nordstrom locations also carry them in-store. If you live in San Diego, Pigment carries them also. I indulge myself with a few a day. They make a nice grown-up treat.

That’s all! I hope you find these ideas helpful!
