One Bowl Chocolate Chip Cookies

Sometimes I’m craving fresh cookies, but the thought of having to use my stand mixer, clean-up, etc, makes me feel too lazy, even though the cookies don’t take that long to make.

So when I came across a one bowl chocolate chip cookie recipe where I don’t even need to use my mixer, I definitely had enough energy to try it out.

Making this recipe actually reminded me a lot of my old college days when I would make cookies without a mixer because I didn’t have one. These came out pretty good. Chewy in the middle, just how I like my cookies. They were a tad too sweet though so I will cut down on the sugar next time. My cookies also didn’t flatten as much as I would have liked. I had to press down on the dough a little before baking.

  1. We made them last night. They were so easy. Instead of adding in the chocolate chips I scooped the cookies on the sheet then added cinnamon chips to some, butter scotch to others and chocolate chips to the rest. I didn’t find them sweet at all. The texture was like a cakey sugar cookie.

  2. The cookies look lovely and as someone who hates washing up, I love the idea of the one bowl recipe!
