Happy Lunar New Year!
This year marks the year of the horse. (I took this photo from a Chinese calendar I was given.)
Hello Kitty is all dressed up for the New Year too.
(As a side note, I keep seeing slightly newer variations of the New Year Hello Kitty which I’m really tempted to buy, even though I know I don’t need multiple Hello Kitty’s dressed for New Year’s.)
I did a pretty comprehensive post last year on various foods eaten and traditions followed during the 15 day celebration, which was just updated and published on Blogher.
I’m keeping it very simple this year as it’s been a really busy few weeks. I’ll definitely be eating New Year’s cake though.
