Fruttare Black Cherry Fruit Bars

Summer is most definitely my favorite season and there are an endless number of things I enjoy about it. The longer daylight hours, warm weather, cute dresses, vacations, etc. One of the main things I look forward to in summer is all the fruit! So much fruit. I eat fruit as part of my breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack and dessert in the summertime. I find myself constantly craving it, especially on really hot days.

I love all kinds of fruit, so the large selection in the summer makes me so happy. Peaches, mangoes, strawberries, blueberries, papaya, grapes, etc. If I had to pick a favorite though, it would have to be cherries.

I’ve been eating cherries like crazy. I buy them at the farmer’s market, Costco, grocery stores. When I was in Barcelona, the markets had the most gorgeous cherries I’ve ever seen. They were nearly twice as big as the cherries here and each one was shiny and without any visible imperfections. I wish I had a better photo, but for some reason they put an artificial light on them even during the daytime.

I had these strawberry cherries for the first time earlier this summer. I really loved them but couldn’t find them again after my initial purchase.

Something else I’ve been enjoying this summer is Fruttare® black cherry fruit bars. I’ve discussed my enjoyment of Fruttare® bars before. I really like that their fruit bars taste so natural. My previous favorites were the mango and the coconut and milk. This summer, I discovered the black cherry flavor, which went perfectly with my cherry obsession.

The cherry bars have real pieces of cherry in them! Every bite contained lots of juicy cherry bits. The bar is also soft, creamy, and smooth. It’s such a light and refreshing treat. You can check out all their flavors and stores that carry them on their website.
