From December through early January, Disneyland Park is full of holiday decor, lights, special foods, parades and shows. We recently went to Disneyland to experience it all.
While we’ve visited Disneyland before, this was the first time we went in December. I wanted go in December so that we could see all the holiday decorations. I love seeing Christmas trees and lights.
It was quite crowded when we went, but the park was beautiful and festive.

Not a holiday item, but always one of my favorites: Salted Caramel Macaron from Jolly Holiday Bakery.
We also got some of our usual favorites like Mickey soft pretzel and the giant smoked turkey leg, but it was pretty dark so I didn’t take photos.
Once the sun set, the park was even prettier.
My absolute favorite image of the night was seeing the Sleepy Beauty Castle lit up. It was just so pretty!
Unfortunately, due to high winds, they weren’t able to show the fireworks show that evening. It’s too bad because my brother went another night and said it was an amazing show.
We had a fun time at Disneyland. Everything was so festive and got us into the holiday mood. We left with some adorable Mickey Mouse ornaments to add to our tree. Most of holiday festivities will be around through the first week of January. You can learn more on their website.
