Chocolate Covered Peeps

These chocolate covered peeps are a fun Easter treat.


  • 1 1/2 cups chopped chocolate
  • 2-3 tbsp oil
  • about 6 peeps


  1. Place chocolate in bowl and melt in microwave, about 40 seconds. Stir until smooth. If chocolate is not completely melted, microwave for an additional 20 seconds and stir again. 
  2. Add in about 2 tbsp oil to thin out the chocolate and make it easier for dipping and coating. If you don't think it's thin enough, add another tbsp. 
  3. Dip peep in chocolate, either by holding small edge and dipping rest of Peep into the bowl or sticking peep onto a stick and dipping. Once peep is completely coated, set aside to let the chocolate set. Repeat with remaining peeps.
