Chocolate Stout Mug Cake

Stout beer and chocolate is a great combination and this mug cake is an easy way to make a quick treat!

Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 5 tbsp white granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 2 1/2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 1/2 tbsp milk
  • splash of vanilla extract
  • 3 1/2 tbsp oil
  • 5 1/2 tbsp Guinness beer

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients into a beer mug with a small whisk or fork until batter is smooth. 
  2. Cook in the microwave for approximately 1 1/2 minutes. Make sure not to overcook or the cake becomes rubbery.
