APPLE DONUTS

These easy apple donuts are healthier than regular donuts. It takes less than five minutes to prepare and these no yeast apple donuts come out light and fluffy.

Easy Recipe

Whisk the flour and baking powder until evenly mixed. Then stir in applesauce until a dough forms and it is fully incorporated into the flour mixture.

Bring oil to medium heat, scoop dough with a cookie scoop, and gently release directly into the hot oil. Repeat this with the remaining dough, in small batches.

Cook donuts until both sides are golden brown, flipping them halfway through. Remove donuts from oil and place onto a plate lined with a paper towel to soak up excess oil.

ENJOY!

Coat with cinnamon sugar or eat as it.

* I don’t recommend baking these donuts because the texture won’t be the same. * The nutrition estimate does not include oil absorbed during frying.
