CARROT CAKE DONUTS

These soft no yeast donuts contain all the flavors of carrot cake. The dough is just 3 ingredients and you can have fresh soft and fluffy carrot cake donuts in just a few minutes.

Easy Recipe

Mix self-rising flour, applesauce and shredded carrots together until a sticky dough forms.

Frying Method Heat oil, then using a cookie scoop, gently release dough into the oil. Cook until donuts are medium brown and fully cooked on the inside.

Air Fryer Method Scoop the dough and place them 1 inch apart in an air fryer basket, then cook for about 5 minutes in a preheated air fryer.

Oven Method Scoop the dough onto a prepared pan, 1 inch apart, and bake for about 12 minutes, just until the inside is cooked.

Top with a simple glaze with chopped pecans and grated carrots

Recipe Notes

The carrots should be finely/thinly shredded. I used the small holes on my box grater.
