Since applesauce is often used as a substitute to make a recipe healthier, this was the perfect opportunity to use applesauce in a mug cake. I didn't use any oil, so the cake isn't as fluffy as some of the other ones I've made. It's more like a muffin, but it's still pretty tasty.
Mix all ingredient except fresh apple chunks in an a mug with a small whisk until batter is smooth. Batter will be rather thick. Add in apple chunks and stir. Cook in microwave for about 1 minute.
