These avocado chips are easy to make and don't take long at all since you cook them in the microwave. They do have a bitter aftertaste, which doesn't bother me but please be aware in case you are sensitive to bitter flavors. I offer some tips to mask the bitterness in the recipe in case you want to try them.
Cut the avocado in half and remove from shell. Slice lengthwise, in thin slices, about 1/2 cm thick.
If using lemon juice to detract from some of the bitterness, squeeze fresh lemon juice on both sides of the avocado slice before placing on a microwave plate. Otherwise, just place on the plate. Make sure pieces do not overlap on the plate. You may want to make these in at least two batches.
Microwave for 3 minutes. Check on doneness. They are done when they are completely dried and hard to the touch. Snack on them as is or dip in chocolate sauce to remove more bitterness.
