These baked tofu fries are coating with a honey garlic sauce and topped with some crunchy sesame seeds. They make a great healthier snack or meal option.
Preheat oven to 375°F. Slice tofu into 1/2 inch thick sticks, so that they resemble french fries. Using a few paper towels, pat tofu to draw as much water out of the tofu fries as possible. Lay tofu sticks onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 20-30 minutes (flipping halfway) until fries are golden and outside is crisp.
While fries are baking, make your sauce on the stove. Add all sauce ingredients except the cornstarch + water into a small saucepan. Bring to a low boil and stir until mixed. In a small bowl, completely dissolve cornstarch in water, then add to the mixture. Stir until sauce boils again and cook until sauce thickens (about 2 minutes).
When fries are finished, quickly brush with sauce and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
