In a coffee mug, combine the egg, vanilla, cream, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and oil.
Place the mug in the microwave and cook it for approximately one minute and 20 seconds, or until the middle of the cake is cooked which you can check with a toothpick.
To plate, turn the mug over on a plate to remove the cake. Serve warm.
