Make 1 inch balls with cookie dough and place back in the refrigerator until right before frying.
Separate each biscuit dough slice into two. Roll out each piece and flatten slightly with rolling pin. Heat oil in pot being used for frying. Wrap dough around cold cookie dough, making sure to seal it properly.
Drop into hot oil and fry for a few minutes on each side until golden brown. Repeat with remaining dough. Dust with powdered sugar before serving. You can also add a chocolate drizzle.
