This is a super easy way to make an omelet. You whisk your eggs and omelet fillings and then you pour it into the hot waffle iron. No need to hover over the stove and once it's done, your waffle iron will tell you, the same as if you were making waffles.
1tbspeach of omelet ingredients, I did shredded mozarella cheese, chopped red peppers, chopped broccoli and breakfast sausage slices
Instructions
Preheat waffle iron and grease with pam oil spray on both top and bottom.
Whisk eggs and milk in a medium bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients. When waffle iron is hot, slowly pour in egg batter. Careful not to fill up too much. There should be a thin layer of egg batter across the entire surface of the bottom iron but if you try to pour too thick of a layer, it will just leak out the sides when you close your iron.
Depending on the depth and size of your waffle iron, you may have a little liquid left over to make a partial second omelet.
