These sweet tea mimosas are inspired by the sweet fruit teas we had on a trip to Nashville, TN. These drinks combine the best of southern sweet tea with bubbly champagne and are a great make-ahead cocktail for holiday celebrations. Brew the tea and make the simple syrup ahead of time so when it's time for drinks you just need to mix and serve!
1ozsimple syrup, or more or less based on taste preference
Instructions
Mix all ingredients in a champagne glass. Serve chilled. Garnish with fresh fruit (like raspberries) and mint, if desired.
Notes
How to Make Simple Syrup: In a small saucepan, boil 1 cup of water with 1 cup of sugar until dissolved. Transfer the syrup to a container. It will keep in the refrigerator for up to a month.
