I’ve been searching for a good gelato place for a while now after being disappointed with my old favorite. I read great reviews about Pappalecco on yelp and have been wanting to try it out. I finally got to try it this past weekend.
When we arrived, there was a small line out the door, which is always a good sign. Once inside, the place is bustling. Despite the chaos, the staff is very friendly and greet you in Italian. In addition to a gorgeous display of gelatos, they also have a small cafe menu, some pastries and coffees, 
The place is pretty tiny. While they have some tables, there is not too much room inside to sit down.
The pastry selection looked pretty, but I didn’t have any room to try them.
What I was most impressed with was the gelato display. I love how it is mounds of swirls and curls.
The staff was genenous and patient as I tried to decide what flavors I wanted. I ended up going with a combination of pear, hazelnut and pistachio. Boyfriend got nutella and pappalecco.
The gelato is delicious. Extremely creamy and rich. I’ve had issues with my gelato being too icy from other places, or not being rich in flavor. The pappalecco was a chocolate flavor with chocolate crunchies in it. The nutella appeared to taste like chocolate hazelnut. The pear was sweet, with little grains of pear inside. I didn’t think it tasted like pear, but I enjoyed the taste. I really loved the hazelnut and pistachio. The hazelnut had little pieces of hazelnuts inside. The pistachio didnt have any pistachio pieces but packs a powerful pistachio flavor.
Boyfriend also got a gelato latte, with nutella flavor. I didn’t really taste the gelato in the latte but Boyfriend like it.
The only complaint I have about the gelato is that it melted really fast. It wasn’t that warm of a day, but it melted faster than I could eat it.
If you are looking for some yummy gelator, I recommend Pappelecco!
