As you may recall, I’ve blogged about Kaeng Raeng in the past. I tried their cleanse last year and really enjoyed it. I loved the convenience of the powder pouches which I can easily mix into my mason jars and bring with me. And the three flavors all taste good too.
The cleanse consists of freeze dried powder smoothie pouches. To make the smoothie, you simply add water to it and mix. You can add ice if you want it extra thick. I’m not going to lie. Cleanses are hard for me. They haven’t gotten any easier. But if you can get through it, I think you’ll feel the difference. I like to do a cleanse after a particularly indulging period of time, as it always resets my body to want to eat healthy again.

Just thinking about starting a cleanse is hard for me! Even for just three days. But I’ve read that with a 3 day cleanse, it’s actually more like 9 days, where you need to eat light before and after. Is that true? You said it’s beneficial to cleanse after a particularly indulgent period of time, did you just go right for the cleanse, or did you slow down and let you body adjust first?

For this one there isn’t any instructions about needing to eat light before. I just go right into it. It’s definitely really hard (though you are allowed some raw vegetables too) but I always feel so great when it’s done with. Otherwise I will just keep going down an endless tunnel of eating a lot of crap and then feeling guilty about it. But after the cleanse, my body actually wants to eat healthy for a while.
