So, at the suggestion of some friends, I am launching a new category for Food News. I subscribe to a lot of restaurants in San Diego, and am constantly getting updates about their latest offers and specials. I’m going to use this section to share what I think are some nice restaurant deals around the county. (I’m not going to talk about every single one I come across– just the ones I think are good and plan on/want to participate in). Today, I want to let my readers know about a new special menu offering at The Prado. They are featuring a 3 course Spring Classic Menu. The three course meal also comes with three different wine pairings for each course, for the price of $32.95 per person (including wine!). This looks like a great deal. And, it’s not limited to certain days of the week. The menu is being offered everyday, from March 15- April 30, except for Easter Sunday and Mondays because they are closed Mondays. I personally love trying 3 course menu specials, because it allows me to sample more dishes than I normally would try. I’ve been to Prado a few times, and I think their food is pretty good. I’ve already made my reservation, and I’m sure I’ll blog about it after I go.
