We recently got to try the new DIGIORNO pizzeria! thin Pizza and absolutely love it! After eating our way through Europe earlier this month, we haven’t really been feeling big and fancy meals. So instead of going out for date night on weekends, we’ve been doing a lot more at-home date nights.
Our favorite date night food is pizza. It’s Mr. K’s favorite food and I love that I don’t have to cook. DiGiorno has been our go-to for frozen pizza for years and we recently had a chance to check out their new DIGIORNO pizzeria!™ thin. We absolutely fell in love with the thin and crispy preservative-free crust. It has such a fantastic crunch to it and stayed that way for the entire dinner.
The crust is proofed for nearly 90 minutes before being baked in a 700 degree oven to develop the thin and crispy texture. This is definitely our favorite from the DIGIORNO pizzeria line.
The new DIGIORNO pizzeria!™ thin pizzas are available in four varieties: Supreme Speciale, Primo Pepperoni, Margherita, and Spinach & Mushroom. The latter two are unique to the thin line.
Unfortunately when we went to our local Ralph’s, they were out of the Supreme Speciale and Primo Pepperoni for the DIGIORNO pizzeria!™ thin pizzas. So we decided to try the new flavors in the original DIGIORNO pizzeria form. We really enjoyed them both, and can’t wait to try them with the new line.
We like variety, so we chose two pizzas for each date night (with plenty of leftovers after). The pizzas bake right on the oven rack, so one less thing to clean up. The heating is so easy, that Mr. K doesn’t mind doing the “cooking.” We paired our pizzas with a simple caprese salad with fresh tomatoes, basil, mozzarella and balsamic vinaigrette.
If you’re a fan of thin crispy crust pizza, I definitely recommend you check out DIGIORNO pizzeria!™ thin pizzas. And right now, DIGIORNO is offering a “Love It Or It’s Free Guaranteed” refund. If for some reason you try the new pizzeria!™ thin and don’t like it, you can visit DIGIORNO.com for more information on how to receive a refund.
