Our last breakfast in London, we dined at one of the Hawksmoor restaurants. Britain is famous for their Full English Breakfast and Hawksmoor kicks it up a notch by offering a massive sharing version.
Full English Breakfast
I stuck with the traditional full English, which includes plum pudding bacon, sausage , black pudding, fried eggs, hash brown, grilled mushrooms, roast tomatoes, trotter baked beans, and toast. Try saying all that in one breath. Mr. K adores the full English breakfast tradition and you can see why, right?
I had trouble finishing my plate, but I did my best. I think I polished off about two-thirds.
Hawksmoor Breakfast (for 2 to share)
Now this is their famous one. Luckily, other people in our group ordered it so I could get a photo. It includes everything on the traditional plate, but also adds a smoked bacon chop, short-rib bubble & squeak, grilled bone marrow, HP gravy, and unlimited toast. This could easily feed more than two people.
Look at this giant bone marrow!
Flat White
I also ordered a flat white. I really like how strong the espresso drinks are in Europe and I ordered one pretty much everywhere we went.
Cornflake Milkshake
Mr. K couldn’t resist trying the cornflake milkshake. It was very sweet and tasted of cornflakes.
Overall, this was a great final breakfast in London. We’ve tried several versions of the full English from this trip and our previous trip and this one was our favorite. If you’re in London and looking for the Full English breakfast experience, Hawksmoor is a good place to get it. They also have several locations too.

I like the look of that long bone marrow! Pretty hearty, that full English breakfast.
It was so filling! definitely not something that can be done everyday. Weekends only =)
