Pumpkin Frozen Yogurt

With pumpkin season in full effect, it seems like all of the frozen yogurt shops are offering a pumpkin frozen yogurt flavor. But it’s also quite easy to make your own at home.

DH and I really loved this homemade version. It’s easy to make and healthier than ice cream. We made it once, then immediately made a bigger batch to enjoy over a long period of time.Pumpkin Frozen Yogurt

This easy frozen yogurt is light than regular ice cream and is flavored with pumpkin and fall spices.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup nonfat plain Greek strained yogurt
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 cup sugar or more if you desire a sweeter frozen yogurt

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into ice cream maker and follow instructions. Eat immediately or freeze to achieve firmer texture.

  1. Love how little sugar this uses! I need to make room in the freezer so I can make this. It’s easier said than done, though! It looks SO good.

    • I like that it’s low in sugar too! And really you can adjust the sugar level to your liking or even swap out sugar for another sweetener.

  2. My boyfriend and I talk over Skype messaging a lot. I showed him this page about 15 minutes ago, and he only replied with 2 words: “Please make.” I have a batch sitting in the freezer already! I tasted it, and the proportions are perfect. I can’t wait to try it when it freezes completely. Thank you 🙂
