A few weeks ago I went to Trade Joe’s to try out some of their new and featured items from their May Fearless Flyer. Here are some of the things I bought during my shopping trip.
Trader Joe’s Blueberry Lavender Flavored Almond Beverage and Matcha Almond Beverage
I was really excited to try out these two almond beverages. I ended up liking them both a lot. The blueberry lavender one is not too floral. It is lightly sweet and reminds me of summer. I also enjoyed the matcha one since I love all things matcha.
Trader Joe’s Berry Flavored Soft Licorice Twists
I previously mentioned that I really enjoy Trader Joe’s Licorice Twists. The licorice twists have a soft and chewy consistency. I was really excited to see them offering a berry flavored version that is around just for the summer. I love berry flavored candy and really enjoyed these. I purchased a few bags and already finished them. I need to go back for more.
Cauliflower Gnocchi
I’ve made cauliflower gnocchi before, but was still excited to try out this version. These are soft and pillowy, just like classic gnocchi, but with a cauliflower flavor.
Simpler Wines Too Uncanny
I bought these mainly because of the packaging. I wouldn’t have thought I would find canned wine appealing, but these cans are sleek and attractive. I have not yet had a chance to try them.
Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate Toasted Sesame Caramels
The toasted sesame has a nutty, almost peanut butter-like flavor. These chocolate candies are like bite-sized chocolate candy bars. The inside has both crunchy biscuits and soft caramel, adding great textures.
Dark Chocolate Cacao Nibs
Not a new item but new for me. The chocolate coating balances out some of the bitterness of the cacao and makes these fun to snack on.
That’s all for now! I’m excited to see what the June Fearless Flyer features. As always, let me know if you have any favorite Trader Joe’s products you would recommend. You can also view all my previous Trader Joe’s posts here.
I tried that blueberry lavender milk and surprisingly enough, I liked it. I did end up eating it with some sort of cereal with blueberry and oat clusters and it went really well. I tried looking for that milk againthe other day and sadly, they were all sold out.
Oh no! that’s too bad that they are sold out.
