After you’ve tried homemade whipped cream you won’t want store-bought again! It only takes about ten minutes to make and is delicious served with fresh fruit for an easy dessert.
So in case you haven’t noticed, it’s strawberry season. Strawberries have been everywhere: on sale at the supermarkets, all over the farmer’s markets, etc. As a result, I’ve been eating a lot of strawberries. Normally, I like to eat them by themselves. But a while back, my mom started making her own fresh whipped cream, and they tasted so good with the strawberries! I’ve had canned whipped cream with strawberries and wasn’t a big fan of it, but fresh whipped cream is delicious!
So I finally tried to make some on my own this weekend. With a few friends visiting, and some fresh whipped cream, we easily gobbled up four pounds of strawberries.
Enjoy!
