Cadbury Egg Brownies

Only a few more days until Easter! I saw quite a few pictures on blogs of people making brownies studded with Cadbury Eggs in the last few weeks, prompting me to make one too. It’s actually what got me interested in trying a Cadbury creme egg and making the discovery that I really enjoy them.

I love how the open Cabdury eggs look on top, though some melted in more than others.

I confess, I cheated. I used a box mix. I just didn’t have the time to do it from scratch.

I didn’t love this one as much as the Cadbury Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies, but they are still good and easy to make.

Cadbury Egg Brownies

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 30 minutes
Total Time: 35 minutes

These easy brownies are a fun way to use Cadbury eggs.

Ingredients

  • You favorite brownie box mix
  • about 6 cadbury creme eggs

Instructions

  • Make brownies according to box instructions. Preheat oven to temperature indicated on box. Grease 9 x 13 pan.
  • Pour brownie mix into pan. Cut eggs in half. Place eggs on top of batter, spreading them evenly across surface. Bake according to box instructions.
