Easter Bunny Buns

The last few years, I’ve been making bunny-shaped bread buns for Easter, so following tradition, I made them again.

Each year I’ve been experimenting with the decoration a little. The first year, I used brown sprinkles for the eyes.

The second year, I poked holes with chopsticks for the eyes.

This year, I tried using peppercorn for eyes.

These little bunny breads are so easy to make and perfect for Easter Sunday brunch. I used my one hour bread recipe again to make them.

I think my favorite version might be the original one with the sprinkles for eyes. The peppercorn eyes are cute, but not nearly as pleasant to eat and they don’t stay in place as well.

To view the recipe for these with step by step photos, you can read my post from last year. The only thing different is that I put peppercorns for the eyes after making holes with chopsticks.
