Frost Me Cupcakes (winner on Food Network’s Cupcake Wars), recently opened a store in Seaport Village. I previously visited their kiosk at UTC mall and really enjoyed the cupcakes, so when we were in Seaport Village this weekend, I decided to stop by their main storefront.
The interior of the shop is quaint and cute. In addition to their signature cupcakes, they also serve coffee for those who want to enjoy their cupcakes at the store.
I managed to show some self-restraint and only purchased two cupcakes to-go.
Caramel Cashew with orange zest
The light cupcake has a mild, nutty flavor. The orange zest added a refreshing citrus and acidic balance.
Stout Chocolate Kahlua
Loved the deep chocolate flavor, enhanced by the stout beer.
Overall, we enjoyed our cupcakes here, much like our visit to their UTC location. I don’t love cupcakes as much as I used to, but when I’m in the mood, Frost Me Cupcakes is a great place to get them in San Diego.

I like that they have a kiosk at UTC since I don’t go to Seaport very often.
