This creamy fudge is both chocolate and peanut butter flavored. This fudge is easier to make than traditional fudge and only requires 2 ingredients. It only takes about five minutes to prepare and it stores well.
This is a quick and easy fudge recipe for whenever you need fudge. What I especially love about this fudge is that it doesn’t need milk, butter or condensed milk. Instead, it is made with just the two ingredients in its name. It is also healthier than regular fudge.
Ingredients
- Peanut butter
- Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
Peanut butter: This recipe uses natural peanut butter. This means there should only be peanuts and salt in the ingredient list and no added oils.
Semi-sweet chocolate chips: Melted chocolate creates the base for this fudge. I prefer using semi-sweet chocolate so that the fudge is not super sweet. I also used dairy-free semi-sweet chocolate chips but if you don’t need the fudge to be dairy-free you can use regular semi-sweet chocolate chips. If you prefer sweeter fudge you can also use milk chocolate.
How to Make Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge
The chocolate and fudge are melted together until smooth. The mixture is then poured into a baking loaf pan lined with parchment paper and placed into the freezer until set. This should only take about 30 minutes. Bring the fudge back to room temperature before cutting and serving.

You can also melt the chocolate and peanut butter on the stove using the double boiler method.

- Place the fudge into the freezer until set. This should only take about 30 minutes. Bring the fudge back to room temperature before cutting and serving. Uneaten fudge can be stored in the fridge or freezer.
Notes
- This fudge is not meant to be super sweet. If you prefer sweeter you can use milk chocolate instead of semi-sweet.

So simple and so delicious! Thank you so much for this treat idea.
Thank you! We’re so glad you loved this recipe!
These were really good, my husband and daughter liked them also. I used semi sweet chocolate, since we are used to our treats not being too sweet. If I was going to make them for company I think I’d use milk chocolate. And the texture was perfect for fudge – smooth and creamy.
We’re so glad your family loved the fudge!

Yes, they are – you scrolled past them to leave your comment. All of the ingredients amounts and instructions are listed in the recipe card at the end of the post (before the comments section).
Does it have to be natural peanut butter or will any kind work?
We have only tested this with natural peanut butter. Because of the added oils in regular peanut butter, it may not work.
