3 Ingredient Strawberry Oatmeal Cookies (No Flour, Eggs, Refined Sugar, Dairy, Butter or Oil)
These strawberry oatmeal cookies are soft, chewy and full of strawberry flavor. The cookies only need 3 ingredients and don’t require any flour, eggs, refined sugar, dairy, butter or oil. The cookies can easily be customized.

These strawberry cookies are packed with strawberry flavor. What I love about them is that they make a nice, simple, healthier cookie on their own but you can also customize them to add more flavors or texture.
Ingredients
- Strawberries
- Quick Oats
- Honey
Strawberries: Fresh strawberries are used to make a strawberry puree. Some of the strawberries are also finely chopped to add bits of strawberries mixed throughout the cookies.
Quick oats: Quick oats are oats that are thinner and smaller than rolled oats. You can also use rolled oats but I find that quick oats bind better.
Honey: A little honey is added to sweeten the cookies since strawberries are not very sweet on their own.
How to Make Strawberry Oatmeal Cookies
- Some of the strawberries are blended until they become a smooth puree. Add the puree to a mixing bowl and whisk in the honey.
- Add the oats and stir until the oats are evenly incorporated. If your mixture is not sweet enough, you can add a little more honey.
- Stir in the chopped berries. Use a 1.5 tbsp cookie scoop to scoop the mixture and release onto your prepared baking pan. Flatten the cookie dough balls until they are between 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
- Bake the cookies for about 12 minutes or until the cookies are set. Let the cookies cool before removing them from the baking pan.
Expert Tips
- These are meant to be healthier cookies so they will not taste as rich or sweet as regular cookies. If you want to add some healthy fat to add richness to the cookies, you can add 2-4 tbsp peanut butter or almond butter.
- You can add other mix-ins like chocolate chips or dried fruit.
- Make sure to finely chop the strawberries being mixed in. If your berry pieces are too big, they will add too much moisture to the cookies and will cause them to fall apart.

3 Ingredient Strawberry Oatmeal Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (107g) strawberry puree + 1/4 cup (44g) finely chopped strawberries (between 1/8 to 1/4 inch cubes), see note before starting
- 2 tbsp (30ml) honey, or more to taste
- 1 cup (92g) quick oats
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Add strawberry puree and honey to a large mixing bowl. Whisk until the honey is fully incorporated.
- Add in oats. Stir with a spatula until the oats are evenly mixed and fully coated. Taste, and if needed, you can stir in more honey. If adding optional peanut butter, stir it in now. Stir in chopped strawberries and any other optional mix-ins. Mix until they are evenly distributed.
- Use a 1.5 tbsp cookie scoop to scoop out cookie mixture. Release cookie mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing the dough balls about 1.5 inches apart. Use the back of a metal spoon to press down on each cookie dough ball so that it forms a thick round disk, between 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. Smooth the sides of the cookie disks if desired. The cookies will not spread during baking so you want to shape the cookies to how you want the final outcome to be.
- Bake cookies for about 12-14 minutes or until cookies are set and no longer look wet. When cookies are done, they should not stick to the prepared baking sheet. Let cookies cool completely before removing them from the baking sheet with a cookie spatula.
Notes
- Strawberry note: To make strawberry puree, blend hulled strawberries in a small blender until smooth. Measure out 1/2 cup of puree for the recipe. For the finely chopped strawberries, make sure to keep the pieces to approximately 1/8 to 1/4 inch. You do not want the strawberry pieces to be bigger than 1/4 inch because they will cause too much moisture in the cookies and will cause the cookies to fall apart. I also don't recommend adding more than 1/4 cup of chopped berries because that will also cause the cookies to fall apart and be too wet.
- The cookies are meant to be healthier cookies so they are not as rich as regular cookies. You can add some richness by adding 2-4 tbsp peanut butter or almond butter which will add some healthy fat to the cookies but it will take away some of the strawberry flavor.
- To make the cookies sweeter, you can add more honey or add sweet mix-ins like chocolate chips.

Appreciate your sharing the lovely strawberry oats recipe! Will give this a try. However you may want to add the oven temp and the cooking time as amateurs like me would benefit from it.
We hope you enjoy it! You can find the oven temperature and the cooking instructions in the recipe card at the bottom of the post!
