Copa Vida, a craft coffee and cafe spot that is originally from Pasadena, recently opened a location in San Diego. The cafe offers dozens of coffee and tea options and food. The modern coffee shop is sleek and spacious, with plenty of seating.

Freddo

This cold pressure drink consists of sweetened espresso which is shaken with ice and then served cold. It was velvety, creamy, and a nice way to start our day.

I really loved that the pour over was served with the glass decanter. I immediately purchased a similar one soon after for my personal home set-up.

We saw quite a few people indulging on the brunch menu and we were definitely tempted, but already had lunch plans.

Overall, we had a really nice first experience. We really liked the atmosphere, the large menu selection, and will likely be here many more times. It’s also a great spot to relax on a weekend morning.

  1. Their Alpha Dominche Steampunk brewers are so rad! I want to order a drink made from one of those. My friend enjoyed their pourover. My cortado was one of the better ones I’ve had, very smooth. I’ll have to return for that Freddo drink.
