Lately, Mr. K and I have been obsessed with doughnuts. We don’t really have a “go to” neighborhood donut shop we frequent, so we’ve been on a mission to find one.
Donut Stop offers about a dozen different donuts, including a blueberry cake donut. They also bake cream puffs.
What immediately appealed to me about this place was the prices. A dozen regular donuts is only $5.80.
Here’s what we got.
I was most excited to try the blueberry one. It basically tasted like fried blueberry muffin mix. It was pretty good, though I think there are better versions elsewhere.
We enjoyed the glazed old fashioned and twist much better.
Overall, we enjoyed the donuts here and will come back more often. The donuts aren’t gourmet quality but the prices are reasonable and it’s a good neighborhood donut shop.

hi kirbie, aw, no blueberry bars this visit? 🙂
i liked their blueberry buttermilk bars better than the blueberry donuts because they were more crisp. i love that sugar glaze! glad you got to try them out. their cream puffs aren’t that great though (nothing compares to mary’s donuts in santee for that).
They were out of the blueberry bars =( I def want to try it next time
I do really like the old-fashioned donuts here as well. They always have a nice crisp, outer edge. I wish they would make crullers!
Ooh, I wish they would too. But yeah, I really enjoyed the old fashioned. I’ve had some weird tasting ones lately so it was a relief to find this tasted nice and normal with the crisp outer edge. I actually thought about making my own but then I got too lazy
