Kirbie's Cravings

Holiday Gift Guide

It is exactly one week until Christmas and if you’re still trying to finish your holiday shopping, here is my last-minute holiday gift guide. From must-have appliances to stocking stuffers, I’ve got you covered.

For the Kitchen

I’ve rounded up my favorite and most used kitchen appliances and tools which are perfect for the person in your life who loves to cook.

OXO Good Grips Pop Container Set* | When I have guests over, they are always admiring my OXO Pop Containers. These space saving containers are great for storing pantry ingredients. The best part is how easy they are to open/close. You just need to press the middle button to seal or unseal. I use them for my flours, sugars, and other cooking and baking essentials.

Instant Pot* | This item has made my holiday gift guide for the last few years and it still remains my most used kitchen appliance. I love how it cuts down the cooking time on complicated recipes and how versatile it is. From easy-to-peel soft boiled eggs, to molten lava cakes, to one pot pastas, this multi-functional cooker makes it all.

Nespresso | I use my machine every morning to make my morning espresso. It produces good quality espresso without the hassle that goes into a full scale espresso machine. I always miss my machine when I’m on vacation. There are several models available. I’ve owned the Citiz* the last few years which is sleek and elegant. Recently I upgrades to the Creatista* because it includes a milk frother capable of making microfoam for latte art.

For the Home

If you’re looking for other useful household gifts, here are a few of my favorites.

Dyson Vacuum* | After years of seeing commercials for Dyson vacuums, we finally splurged on one last year and have zero regrets. This suction of Dyson vacuums are so powerful and unlike any other vacuums we’ve owned before.

Google Home Mini | We have one of these smart speakers in almost every room in our house. In addition to being able to respond to basic voice commands, it’s also connected to several of our appliances as well. We can turn on/off lights, set timers, etc with it.

Food Subscriptions

Who doesn’t love food? I love gifting food subscriptions to people who love food or who are hard to shop for.

Salt & Straw Pints Club | My favorite creamery offers a monthly pints club. It’s so fun to have new ice cream flavors delivered to your door.

Goldbelly | Goldbelly is my go-to shop for iconic food items . Through them, I’ve been able to try things like Cronuts, The Ramen Burger, and Louie Mueller BBQ. They also offer several food monthly subscriptions to fit any and all tastes.

Beauty & Fashion

It’s not always about food. Here are a few of my favorite make-up, skincare and clothing products.

The Case Full Of SeoulIf you enjoy Korean skin products, this Costco set is a steal because the items included are worth considerably more than the kit cost. It’s a great introduction into Korean skincare and has easy diagrams showing how and when to use everything.

Uniqlo Ultra Light Down Jacket* | This ultra light and thin down will keep you warm and cozy without the bulk. This down is so thin that I can fold it up and squeeze it into my purse! My husband and I both own one and we wear them all winter long.

Stocking Stuffers

From cookbooks to gummy bears, these gifts are all under $30.

Dark Chocolate Covered Champagne Bears | Sugarfina made champagne gummy bears super trendy the last few years and now they’ve come out with a dark chocolate covered version of their famous champagne bears.

5-Minute Mug Cakes* | Yes this is my cookbook and I’m a little biased but I still love it and use it when I’m in the mood for a mug cake. The colorful book is full of pictures and easy mug cakes.

Dump Cakes from Scratch* | My second cookbook. These cakes are almost as easy as mug cakes but are meant to serve a larger crowd. You simply dump in the ingredients and bake!

Oxo Dusting Wand* | Not only is this wand adorable but it is very useful. A twist of the wand opens the ball so sugar can be added. Another twist closes it. And it distributes powdered sugar very evenly. I use mine to apply finishing touches to desserts all the time.
