Kitchen Inspirations from LG Studio

As many of you know, I bought my first house earlier this year and have spent the majority of my spare time decorating and furnishing it.

I previously shared some of the photos from my kitchen, my favorite room of the house. I’m constantly looking for inspiration to continue to make it better, as it is the room that people admire most when they visit and it’s where I plan on doing most of my entertaining. I love spending hours on Pinterest and at various furniture and design stores to draw ideas from or to just dream about my ideal kitchen.

I recently partnered up with LG Studio and Blogher, giving me a chance to explore LG Studio’s line of kitchen products, and share some of their designs that gave me inspiration. The LG Studio line provides a premium array of products to create a custom kitchen for home chefs.

Here is my current inspiration board:

You can also check out my pinterest board of kitchen inspirations here.

I really want my ideal kitchen to have a modern, timeless look with a lot of stainless steel, similar to this model signature kitchen by LG. My current kitchen has stainless steel fridge, and a similar oven set as the one in the photo.

One thing I noticed while decorating my kitchen is that the littlest touches can make it look nicer and more organized, such as chalkboard labels. This was the image I found on Amazon that originally inspired me to buy my chalkboard labels and organize all my common used baked good ingredients.

I also am on the lookout for a wall chalkboard so I can write nice messages.

Adding green herbs can really light up the space too. I plan on adding some soon so I have fresh herbs year round.

Shelves really help with organization. We’ve been adding more shelving to our cupboards. I love all the shelves on in this LG fridge!

I’ve been obsessed with appliances. I was really excited by this 4-mode convection oven. Look at all that space! And it has four convection option settings: Convection Bake, Roast, Crisp and Healthier Roast.

I also love this idea of this Door-in-Door™ fridge, allowing you to have access to some items without having to open the entire fridge, keeping it more energy efficient.

One thing I was very concerned about for my kitchen was natural light. We actually looked and almost made an offer on a house which had extended its kitchen to add a ton of natural window light like this one.

I also love how this little kitchen nook is set up. I think I might be able to do something similar in my kitchen.

  1. If you  like LG appliances, and you’re in the market for laundry appliances, you may be interested in their washer/dryer combo. It holds an average large load ( and I’ve washed a king bedspread in mine), dries the clothes to the degree you want, but only takes up te same space as a front-load washer. It runs about $1400. We bought ours from compactappliance.com .  It is, by far, the best appliance purchase we’ve made in years.

    • thank you! We actually will be looking to upgrade our laundry set soon as our washer and dryer are the old ones we brought with us from our previous place. I want to get a nice set eventually and the LG line looks great!

  2. I’m currently doing the finishing touches on my remodeled kitchen– it’s so nice to be able to apply some of the super cool designing tricks I see online!
You mentioned in your post wanting a chalkboard wall. I’m not sure if it’s what you’re looking for exactly (and it isn’t from LG Studio), but there’s a Disney brand of wall paints that is really cool! They’ve got a black chalkboard paint, and a white marker board paint, both designed specifically for writing on. I actually bought their glow in the dark paint and am going to have a solid glow in the dark wall in my kitchen. I’m super excited for it!
The nicest thing about these paints is their availability. They’re sold at Wal Mart, of all places.
And of course, a big congratulations on such a gorgeous house!

    • thanks for the rec! That sounds great. I actually don’t have any of the LG Studio line of products, but it was just so nice to browse and get ideas from it. I bought a chalkboard off of Amazon but I didn’t like it at all, so I’m still searching. I will look for the Disney brand next time I’m at Walmart!
