Nutella lava brownies

What is better than Nutella lava cookies? How about Nutella lava brownies.

Imagine fudgy chewy brownies, oozing with Nutella.

These came out just as good as I hoped and were a big hit with the family. Being a big brownie lover, I think I may like these even more than the Nutella lava cookies I previously made.

I made the brownies in muffin molds so that each one could hold a surprise of Nutella inside.

These brownies are so easy to put together and would be a perfect quick treat to bring to a party.

Nutella Lava Brownies

Servings: 18 brownies
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes

These brownies have a Nutella lava center and are always a big hit when I make them!

Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix
  • Nutella

Instructions

  • Mix brownie according to instructions. Grease 18 muffin tins.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Scoop batter into each muffin tin about 1/3 full. Add a generous dollop of nutella in the middle of each muffin tin (about 1 tsp). Add more brownie batter on top, until each muffin tin is about 2/3 full.
  • Bake about 20 minutes. A knife inserted near the side of the brownies (not where the nutella is) should come out clean.
  • Let muffins cool for about 5 minutes,and then use a plastic knife around the edges to loosen and remove brownies. Serve while warm.

  3. I love these, the only problem I’ve had each time ive made them I’ve had trouble with the bottoms falling out of them. Have you encountered this or am I doin something wrong?

    • I have not encountered this. I would suggest either putting more brownie batter at the bottom before putting in the nutella (so maybe put in 2/3 batter then nutella and then the final 1/3 of batter) or perhaps putting a little less nutella? Hope this helps!

  6. If I wanted to serve these a few days later, how should I go about heating it up without making it dry or stale?
