Pumpkin Spice Latte Frozen Yogurt
I think my favorite thing about Fall, after pumpkin baked goods, is pumpkin spice latte.
Yes, there’s that one from Starbucks. But I also got some Green Mountain Coffee K-cups of pumpkin spice coffee for my Keurig machine as being part of their program. After brewing it, I added some milk and a little bit of sugar, and it tasted just as good as the ones I was drinking from Starbucks. As a result, I’ve been drinking them every week.
And that is what inspired this. Well, actually my first idea was to make an ice cream. But I didn’t want to use egg yolks and my attempt didn’t work out as I had hoped. It was too icy and I couldn’t taste the coffee or the pumpkin enough.
So then I decided to make a pumpkin latte frozen yogurt. This worked out much better and of course it’s healthier too. Okay it’s not quite the same as a pumpkin spice latte since you have the tartness of the yogurt, but it’s still tasty.
And for those of you who do have a Keurig system, I have a promo code for an additional 15% off all Café Escapes® products: ESCAPE8169. The code will be active on 11/8/12 and is valid through 12/4/2012 @ 11:59 pm EST on GreenMountainCoffee.com

Because during the fall pumpkin everything is absolutely nescessary 🙂
I agree =)
It looks fantastic! I’m not a coffee drinker but I love using coffee in baking and ice cream. I’ve been meaning to empty my freezer since spring so I can get the freezer bowl in there. I wish I had a bigger freezer!
Ah, I have a similar problem! My ice cream bowl is never in the freezer when I need it to be.
