Trader Joe’s November Edition
Last weekend, I popped into Trader Joe’s to check out their November highlights. The November Fearless Flyer typically centers around Thankgiving and this year is no different.
Brussels Sprouts Stalk
I look forward to getting this every year. While I’ve come across them at other markets, I prefer buying them at Trader Joe’s. The stalks are fuller and a little bit cheaper than most other stores. They make a great centerpiece for Thanksgiving and I also like roasting it whole for a side dish. Recipe coming soon!
Raspberry Cranberry Spritzer
I picked up one of these bottles, intending to save it for Thanksgiving. I don’t think I’m going to be able to go that long without opening it, so I might have to go back to get more. I haven’t yet opened it but I’ve heard great things.
Sweet Potato Pie
Thanksgiving pies is a problem I have yet to solve. My husband and I love pie and we always wish for several pies at Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, our families aren’t quite as enthusiastic about pie so there is usually only one pie for dessert. Pie making is also stressful– at least for me. Last year, I decided to outsource and buy pies from one of our favorite bakeries. But they didn’t quite hit the spot. I’m not sure yet what we’ll be doing this year, but I wanted to make sure we still get our fill of pies somehow this Thanksgiving season, so I bought this one to try.
We haven’t tried it yet, but we’ve had other pies from Trader Joe’s before that we enjoyed.
Condensed Cream of Portabella Mushroom Soup
I love cream of mushroom soup so I am so excited that Trader Joe’s has a more adult version with one of my favorite mushroom varieties.
That’s it for now. I didn’t buy as much as I usually do. I don’t get too many of the Thanksgiving pre-made items since we usually cook everything from scratch. I am very much looking forward to the December edition though.
