Trader Joe’s October (Pumpkin) Edition

With pumpkin season upon us, I had to visit Trader Joe’s, which each year manages to top its previous year of pumpkin flavored goods. There’s a few non-pumpkin items in this post too!

Pumpkin Mochi

By far, my favorite of the pumpkin goodies this year, but then I really love mochi so I might be a little biased. The orange colored mochi skin is filled with a rich pumpkin spice ice cream. So good! I need to go back and get more.

Pumpkin Waffles

We really enjoyed this too. The waffles have a light pumpkin spice flavor.

Pumpkin Seed Brittle

I was worried this would just be regular brittle with some pumpkin spice seasoning, but the pumpkin seeds embedded inside really gives this a seasonal feel.

Pumpkins and Gourds

I also bought some decorative pumpkins and gourds.

I was trying to show restraint on this trip, but here are some other pumpkin finds I found at Trader Joe’s.

Not pictured in my purchases is pumpkin butter. I get it every year and unfortunately already finished using mine in some recipe experimenting. I need to restock!

Brussels Sprouts Stalk

I love getting the Brussels sprouts stalks here. Trader Joe’s is the only place I know that sells it this way. It makes for a great centerpiece and you can roast the whole thing, but I’ve so far just breaking off small amounts at a time for a meal.

Okay, so I haven’t purchased this one yet, but I plan on going back to Trader Joe’s to get it. This photo is from my friend, who alerted me to this item. I can’t believe I haven’t seen or heard of it before and I’m excited to try it out!.

Did I miss any other must-get items for my next trip? Happy weekend!

  1. Speaking of pumpkin stuff…I tried the Pumpkin Bread Pudding Mug Cake from your book this weekend and it is CRAZY DELICIOUS! Keep an eye out for a post this week 😀

  2. The pumpkin scone cookies are also pretty awesome. They’re so tiny though, you might end up eating more than you meant to… 🙂

    • Oh yes, tiny treats are so dangerous! I always feel weird buying scones since I know how easy they are to make, but then I hardly ever make them. lol

  3. I also love the pumpkin spiced pumpkin seeds! Give those a try if you like pumpkin seeds 🙂 they taste almost like toffee.

  4. Did you try the macarons? I was curious about those.
