Oreo Brownies are easy to make with four ingredients! All you need is a box brownie mix, Oreo cookies, and white chocolate to make the best fudgy Oreo brownies. You will love how easy they are to make.

I like homemade brownies, but you can’t beat how easy it is to make boxed brownies – they always turn out with the best fudgy texture. So, one thing I love to do is make box brownies and dress them up. It’s an easy way to make fun and creative brownie recipes.

Since I’ve been on an Oreo kick lately, I’ve been brainstorming other Oreo desserts I could make. I’ve already made Oreo cupcakes and cookies and cream milkshakes so I thought I should try Oreo brownies next.

I didn’t want to just add Oreos to the brownie batter. I wanted to sprinkle them on top. But with the dark color of the brownies, I didn’t think the oreo cookies would stand out enough. So even though I don’t usually frost my brownies, I decided to add some white chocolate ganache to them so that the Oreo cookies would stand out more.

These aren’t the most perfect brownies in terms of looks, but they taste so good with the crunch cookies and white chocolate on top. Plus, they’re so easy – they’re hardly any work at all.

Ingredients

  • Boxed brownie mix – use your favorite brand.
  • Heavy cream
  • Chopped white chocolate
  • Crushed Oreo cookies

Chocolate tip: I think chopped chocolate melts better, but you can use white chocolate chips if that’s what you have on hand. You can also milk chocolate chips for a rich chocolate flavor if you don’t like white chocolate. The cookies won’t stand out as much, but the brownies will still be good.

Recipe Steps

Make the brownies and bake them following the package instructions. Once they’re baked allow them to cool completely.

Warm the heavy cream in a saucepan on the stove. Once it starts to boil, pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate in a bowl. Stir until the ganache is smooth.

Frost the brownies with the white chocolate ganache and then sprinkle the chopped cookies over the top.

Can you use homemade brownies for this recipe?

I think it will work with homemade brownies. Use your favorite recipe or try my best fudgy brownies recipe.

Storage Tips

Store Oreo brownies in an airtight container at room temperature. They should keep well for several days.

I don’t recommend freeze them because the Oreos on top will soften once you thaw the brownies.
