This easy low carb and keto-friendly bread needs just 3 ingredients. It doesn’t contain any flour or flour substitutes but has a texture similar to regular bread made with flour. The bread can be used for toast, sandwiches or eaten plain.
I’m always on the quest to find the best low carb bread option. This quick and easy bread is one of my favorites.
Ingredients
- Tahini
- Eggs
- Baking soda
Tahini: Tahini is a condiment made of toasted ground sesame. It has a creamy texture and nutty flavor and is similar to peanut butter except that it has a much more runny consistency. If you don’t have tahini on hand, I have a similar bread using peanut butter.
Eggs: Eggs are what gives this bread its structure.
Baking soda: Baking soda is used to help the bread rise.
How to Make Keto Tahini Bread
- All three ingredients are mixed together until you have a smooth batter. You can use a whisk or a mixer.
- The batter is then transferred to a parchment lined loaf pan and baked for about 30 minutes. Once cooled your bread is ready to be sliced.
Taste and Texture
This bread will have a light toasted sesame flavor. It’s a good bread for making sandwiches or toast. The texture is very much like regular bread.
If you want some variation, you can also add 1 tbsp of low carb sweetener to give the bread a little bit more flavor. You can also add sesame seeds on top for some crunch.

3 Ingredient Keto Bread
Ingredients
- 4 large eggs about 198 grams without shells
- 1 cup (224 g) tahini
- 1 tsp (5 g) baking soda
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Line an 8 x 4 inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, add eggs, tahini and baking soda. Mix with a mixer or a whisk until you have a smooth batter.
- Transfer batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for about 30-33 minutes or until done. Let bread cool fully before slicing.
Notes
- Use a tahini you enjoy eating. Some brands I have tried taste a little bitter.
- You can also bake this in a bigger 9 x 5 inch loaf pan but your bread will be very short and you will need to reduce the baking time.
- I've seen this recipe on many platforms but I originally found it on Dished.
