4 Ingredient Keto Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies
These peanut butter blossom cookies are low carb, low sugar and keto-friendly. The cookies need just 4 ingredients and don’t require any flour substitutes or dairy. The cookies are soft, full of peanut butter flavor and have a chocolate center.

These peanut butter blossoms are an easy dessert to make or gift. The cookies also don’t require any special flour alternatives.
Ingredients
- Peanut butter
- Allulose
- Egg
- Keto dark chocolate
Peanut butter: Make sure to use natural peanut butter with no added oils. The cookie dough will not thicken and set if you use regular peanut butter with added oils.
Allulose: Allulose is used to sweeten the cookies. You can use other granular sugar substitutes but the cookie texture will change depending on the sweetener you use. I like using allulose because it acts similarly to regular sugar.
Egg: Egg is used as the binding agent for the dough and also thickens the dough.
Keto dark chocolate: You can use either a keto dark chocolate bar or keto dark chocolate chips. The chocolate is melted until smooth and then added to the center of the cookies after they are done baking.
How to Make Keto Peanut Butter Blossoms
- The peanut butter, allulose and egg are mixed together until a dough forms.
- Scoop the dough and roll into balls. Press down on each ball with the back of a measuring spoon or your thumb to form a deep well in the center.
- Bake the cookies until done. After the cookies have cooled and set, fill the centers with melted dark chocolate.
Texture
The cookies have a soft and cakey texture. The center is solid chocolate.
Expert Tips
- I tested these cookies with different granular sugar substitutes and preferred the texture and taste of the allulose version. However, if you don’t have allulose, you can make these cookies with granular monkfruit or erythritol. The cookie texture will be different depending on the sugar substitute you use.
- If you don’t need the cookies to be low sugar, you can also use regular dark chocolate.
- You can use keto milk or semisweet chocolate to fill the center instead of dark chocolate.

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, stir together the peanut butter, sugar, and egg until smooth and evenly combined. The mixture should resemble a soft dough.
- Use a 1.5 tbsp cookie scoop to scoop the dough and roll into balls. Arrange on the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
- Use the back of a tablespoon to gently press a shallow well into the center of each cookie.
- Bake for 10 minutes, or until the edges are set and lightly golden.
- While cookies bake, melt chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring in between with a silicone spatula, until chocolate is smooth.
- Let cookies cool for about 10-15 minutes, then spoon the melted chocolate into each indent. You can also pipe the chocolate in.
- Cool completely at room temperature (or refrigerate briefly) until the chocolate firms up. Store any uneaten cookies in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.

- If you are on a keto diet, please remember to look at net carbs and not just total carbs in the estimated nutrition. The net carbs count excludes fiber and carbs from sugar alcohols and allulose.

Is there a substitute for alluolos

Definitely CAKEY texture. If someone wants a cookie and not a muffin, this is NOT a good recipe for that.
We do mention in the post that these cookies have a soft and cakey texture!
My cousin Kiristie making me a Keto Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies everyday of the year.
That’s great!
Hi, what is allulose?
Cheers
Susie
Hello! Allulose is a natural rare sugar. It is often used as a sugar substitute in low carb diets because the body does not fully metabolize it.
