I guess the theme of my recipes this week is dairy free. Okay this isn’t completely dairy free because the Nutella spread is not homemade so it does contain a little dairy. But there’s no ice cream or milk in this ice cream-like shake. You can make it completely dairy-free if you use homemade Nutella.

A few years ago, I discovered that you can make banana ice cream using only frozen bananas. When frozen bananas are blended, it becomes very creamy, like ice cream. Using this same concept, I made this Banana Nutella milkshake.
If you drink it right away, it tastes similar to drinking a creamy ice cream milkshake even though there is no actual ice cream inside.
Nutella Banana Ice Cream Milkshake
- 2 frozen bananas sliced
- 1/4 cup Nutella
- Blend bananas and Nutella in food processor or blender until smooth. Drink immediately.
