Kirbie's Cravings

Day 8 of Giveaways

Welcome to Day 8 of the 12 days of giveaways. If you haven’t already, there is still some time left to enter Day 2, Day 3, Day 4, Day 5, Day 6, and Day 7.

On the eighth day of giveaways, Kirbie’s Cravings gave to me…

Gift card to CHEFS!

(and for purposes of completing the song, sung to the tune of the 12 days of Christmas, here are the rest of the giveaways)

One lucky reader will be given a $25 gift card to CHEFS, a catalog retailer for kitchen supplies. I was given this gift card in my bag of swag when I attended the Foodbuzz festival. As much as I like getting stuff, I really don’t need any more kitchen utensils. I barely have enough room in my kitchen to store what I own. So I’m giving away my gift certificate. You can browse their products online. There are hundreds of items under $25, or you can use the certificate towards a bigger purchase. Shipping is free for orders over $49!

One lucky reader will be selected at random through a number generated by random.org. To enter, leave a comment at the end of this post and tell me what you would buy with the $25. Contest ends on December 19, 2010 at midnight PST.

For an additional entry, follow me on twitter (if you don’t already) and tweet the following message: “Win CHEFS giftcard https://bit.ly/fWXvZ0 @kirbiecravings.”

Good luck!

  1. I’d put it towards an immersion blender or a ceramic knife – I’ve wanted both for a while now!

  2. An herb chopper

  3. I would totally put it toward a gel pro mat. I spend a lot of time on my feet at school teaching and in the kitchen. It would be nice it one of them could be more comfortable. Heck if I loved it enough, I might buy one for school.

  4. I would probably get the Champagne Marble Mortar & Pestle!

  5. I would get some new baking pans

  6. Chicago Metallic Popover Pan

  7. I’ll probably use the giftcard to help pay for a new kitchen knife for my mom 🙂

  8. I would probably invest in a wine gift

  9. either a food processor (desperately needed) or a springform pan.

  10. The Edge Brownie Pan by Baker’s Edge
that would be so great for brownies!

  11. I’d probably get a panini press

  12. Hi Kirbie –
I think I’d get a fry pan for my boyfriend’s apartment. He needs his kitchen stocked with better tools for my cooking use!

  13. Honestly I’d probably get the 8 piece glass prep bowl set.. I’m constantly trying to find a place to put all my ingredients for a recipe and the mini bowls would be perfect

  14. I would get the stainless steel food mill so I could make my baby’s first foods.

  15. I really want a food mill but I just keep putting it off. My immersion blender is starting to act up so I might need to replace that, definitely before the food mill.
