These no egg brownies are made with Nutella and have nice fudgy texture. You only need four ingredients and one mixing bowl so they are a good easy brownie especially if you love Nutella.
After successfully making an eggless version of my Easiest Nutella cookies, I also decided to try experimenting with making an eggless version of my Easy Nutella Brownies.
I love Nutella and can eat it straight from the jar but I restrain myself so I can use it in baking recipes like these no egg brownies. I don’t always have eggs on hand, but I usually have flour, sugar and Nutella so this recipe is perfect when I want a quick batch of homemade brownies without having to go to the store.
These didn’t work out quite as perfectly as the cookies, but they are still pretty good. The crumb is a little looser than I would like because there are no eggs, but it’s still nice and fudgy.
You don’t need any vegetable oil or butter for this recipe either. Instead I use yogurt to add moisture and richness to the batter.
Like the original recipe, these are easy peasy. They are ready in about 30 minutes, from start to finish.
Ingredients
- Nutella
- Plain Greek yogurt – I use nonfat
- Brown sugar
- All-purpose flour
Optional: You can also sprinkle some semi-sweet chocolate chips over the top of the batter once it’s in the pan.
How to Make Them
Spray an 8×8″ baking pan with cooking spray or grease it with butter. You can also line the pan with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl and stir until smooth. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top or the brownie batter.
Bake the brownies for 15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow the brownies to cool before slicing them.
You can store them at room temperature in an airtight container or covered with plastic wrap for a few days.
These are good plain, but having them with a scoop of ice cream is even better for an extra treat.
I love easy brownie recipes and I would make these Nutella brownies again when I want a quick chocolate fix. The texture isn’t exactly like your classic brownie but the definitely hit the spot, especially if you like the hazelnut and chocolate flavor of Nutella.

Hi ! I tried these and they turned out wonderful ! Didn’t add the sugar as I like less sweet brownies. I had no ideas Nutella brownie can be made without eggs! Thank you !
I’m glad you enjoyed!
Hi Kirbie tried the recipe its took me 40 min to make it….i used the same measurements….wht could be the reason? mine is a new microwave though…
Hi, this is not a microwave recipe. I’m confused, did you make it in the microwave?
can we bake this in a mini oven? if yes, then for how many mins?
I have not tried, but I don’t think so. I haven’t had much success using toaster mini ovens to make regular baked goods
hi do we require to use baking powder or baking soda
nope!
do I have to use the nonfat plain greek yogurt, can I use another kind of yogurt?
It has to be greek yogurt because the consistency is much thicker. Regular yogurt wont work.
Do you have to use the yogurt? I have everything but that
Yes you so. The yogurt is the substitute for the egg. You can make my version with eggs if you don’t have yogurt, which is linked in the post.
MMMM…. these look so nummy. Just curious (though you’ve probably posted the answer somewhere here) but how much Nutella do you go through per week/month? Do you buy that 5kg jug? 😀
I buy the Costco sized containers. I’m not sure how many I go through actually. I’ve never really kept track.
