This Nutella milkshake is rich, creamy, and perfect for Nutella lovers. You only need 3 ingredients and a blender to make this easy ice cream treat.
For the last few weeks, FH has been going through a milkshake phase. Every day he wants a milkshake and he has been buying them like crazy.
I enjoy milkshakes, but once in a while is enough for me. The shakes are so thick, that I find it hard to finish one.
To save him some money, I decided to make him one. At first, I was going to do a cookies n’ cream one, which is his favorite. But he’s been buying that one every day, so I thought I’d do something different. And then I suddenly thought of trying to do a Nutella one. Because I’m obsessed with putting Nutella in everything.
I made a vanilla ice cream shake and added some Nutella. These tasted great. Since I don’t have any milkshake glasses, I was trying to decide what to put them in. I did a giant one in a regular glass, topped with whipped cream and chocolate sauce.
Then I found these Old Spaghetti Factory souvenir glasses from a long time ago. I thought they were perfect to hold the rest of the shakes because they are tall skinny glasses, and they even bear the colors of the Italian flag.

Is it for weight gain?
Nope, just a treat!
Halved the recipe and didn’t have vanillla icecream so I used half cup chocolate icecream and half cup snickers icecream. It turned out delicious haha
Those changes sound so good!
This is amazing! I have halved the ingredient to suit one serving for a normal cup. I’ve had this three days in a row since I knew of this recipe. Thanks for the share
We’re so glad you love it!
Its bad because they don’t say that you need wip cream until you get to the method. But the drink is good it’s self
The whipped cream is an optional topping – the milkshake is delicious without it, too.
Thanks for sharing this recipe. I’ll try it soon.
Hope you like it!

Its 2:30 AM here in Mumbai, and I have a Nutella craving :p
I’m about to try this out right now!!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Haha, wow 2:30am! This is delicious. Hope you like it as much as I did.
have you noticed a difference between the American version and the imported stuff?
Hm, I’ve never actually had the imported stuff. I never thought to try to see if it is different. Do you know where to get the imported stuff? Now I’m curious
I did not know there was a way to make Nutella better than just smearing it on a hot piece of toast, but combining it with ice cream is taking it to the next level! Think that I will top mine with toasted hazelnuts to really bring out the flavor.

Toasted hazelnuts sounds like a great idea.
Yum, Nutella and ice cream are the perfect combo, and I can only assume the milkshake is the same. I like those glasses. They totally remind me of the Old Spaghetti Factory we used to go to when I was a kid.
These look superyummy! You really got me obsessed with nutella as well 😉 I think I will make these and then warm them up so you have a nutella hot chocolate! (because the weather is horrible over here so we need warm things)
ooh, nutella hot chocolate sounds good. But it’s hot here, so I think I’ll wait until it’s cold for that.
Too bad my husband is lactose intolerant! I like how simple this is – you can’t go wrong with Nutella. This would probably taste just as good with dark chocolate ice cream!
re: OSF glasses – wow, i haven’t seen those in years! nostalgia!
Ah that is really too bad about your husband. Being lactose intolerant totally sucks. Haha, I forgot I even had the OSF glasses! I was searching in my cupboards for something to pour the milkshakes into and found them.
Ooooh, now I know what to do with my remaining Nutella. Just need ice cream!
My hubby likes shakes too and I always have to remember to have the makings on hand because he asks for them at random! Nutella is a perfect shake ingredient in my opinion! Love that glasses 🙂 Come take a peek at the ice cream creations that have been shared at my virtual Ice Cream Social and join in if you have the time.
I love nutella but never try it in milkshakes. They look so yummy! You are so creative!!
