One of our go-to spots when I visit my family in the Bay Area is a visit to Yoshida for their lunch special.
For just $8.95, you get this huge tray with all this food!
The lunch menu is pretty limited, with a choice between only two entrees. Each lunch special also includes rice, California sushi rolls, udon noodle soup, agedashi tofu and iceberg lettuce salad.
On our last visit, the two protein choices were fish or fried pork cutlets.
I especially loved the udon bowl with the flower carrot slice.
I’ve only dined here for the lunch special. It’s not anything fancy, but it’s quick, filling and quite a bargain.
